Below is a sampling of some of my recent work.
Mid-Century Modern Living Room
McKenzie and her husband came to me as their designer via Havenly (I independently contract with Havenly.com, an online interior design service on a regular basis) because they were looking to make their living room feel more cohesive and inviting. They already had the leather couch but needed a few additional pieces to really fill out the room. She loves the mid-century modern vibe, and so we added in fun gray and dark wood toned mid-century chairs and a pin-leg coffee table and matching side table to really complete the look. With blue and gray accessories and a fun bar cart, the room really comes alive and was just what McKenzie and her husband were looking for.
Coastal Vibes Office
Lindsey recently purchased her home and this office area wasn't being used to it's full potential. It already had great built-ins and architectural detail like the french doors, but lacked furniture and charm. She loves the coastal look, and many of the rooms in her home already had a coastal theme to them, so we wanted to continue that in this space as well. Together, we picked out some great new furniture pieces, artwork, seating, an oversized rug, and accessories and books for her built-ins that made the room really come together. A few lamps around the room also created a cozy feel to the modern coastal space, and overall, Lindsey is very happy with how the room turned out!
Industrial Teen Bedroom
Lesley's pre-teen son had outgrown his youth bedroom and came to Havenly looking for something a little more grown-up looking. Her son loves the industrial style, and since his room is small, wanted to go with a combo desk/bookshelf unit that would serve a dual purpose in his room. We paired that piece of furniture with an industrial style stool, inspirational artwork, and navy blue accents to create a room that her son adores and will hopefully love for many years to come!
Beach House Master Bedroom
I worked with Nicolas and Cristina to create a modern master bedroom for his second home on the beach in California. He really wanted high quality pieces for all of the furnishings in his room, and so we were able to create a space that is not only beautiful, but very inviting and luxurious. He loved navy and white, and so we created a palette out of those colors along with some natural elements like a fiddle head tree, leather, natural wood, and moss. Overall, he is very pleased with how the room turned out.
Modern Farmhouse Family Room
I worked with Amanda to create a cozy modern farmhouse style family room for the new house she was moving into. She was ready to part with all of her old furnishings and start fresh, so we began by sourcing her the most lovely Pottery Barn slipcovered sofas and built the rest of the concept off of those. We incrorporated lots of neutrals and tiny pops of blues for a fresh, clean look. We also added in dashes of leather, lots of different fabric textures, and some metals to complete the look.
